Heather Davis Fitts Owner/Instructor
Heather is a twenty-six year old native of Wilson, North Carolina. She started dancing at the age of three at Hunter's Dance Studio where she began her training and teaching classes. She has been choreographing recital routines for the past ten years as well as teaching classes and holding dance camps. She graduated from Fike High School in May of 2002. In the fall of 2002, she entered East Carolina University and was very excited about continuing her dance career through college. In the Spring of 2003, she was accepted into the ECU School of Theatre and Dance Department. Through her four years of college She was chosen to perform in the Jazz Performing Group, and yearly Faculty Concerts. In 2003 she was awarded a scholarship from the ECU School of Theatre and Dance Department. She continued her training each summer by attending The Amercian Dance Festival at Duke University, New York City, and Boulder Jazz Workshop at Boulder University in Boulder, CO. She graduated from ECU in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance with a concentration in Jazz. She opened Heather's Dance, Inc in 2007. She continues her training each summer by attending workshops in New York City, NY and Raleigh, NC. She has always had a strong passion for teaching dance. Having students enjoy dance is Heather's first priority.
Alina Ramirez Instructor 
Alina began dancing at the young age of three. Her pre-professional training took place in Cary, North Carolina at the Cary Ballet Conservatory, where she was a founding member of their pre-professional ballet company. During her years at CBC, she danced many featured roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and Odette in their company’s performance of Swan Lake. After graduation, she continued her training at a collegiate level and received her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Dance Education from East Carolina University in December 2010. There, she had the great privilege of studying under principle danseur, Timour Bourtasenkov, and prima ballerina, Galina Panova, whom featured Alina as the principal dancer in an original role in 2010. Alina’s passion for teaching began in 2003, and she has continued to teach and choreograph ever since. Alina taught at the Carolina Ballet’s Youth Summer intensive program in 2011, as well as master classes at ECU, and has choreographed for public school dance companies, musicals and collegiate dance teams. Currently, she is a company member and choreographer for Elevate, a local performance and production dance company, where she has been able to perform and travel all over, including New Orleans and Pinehurst. Alina is looking forward to continuing her carrier in dance performance, choreography, and instruction, and feels blessed to be able to pursue her passion for dance.
Tina Boykin Tumbling Instructor
Tina was born in Terra Haute, Indiana in 1971. Tina started gymnastics at the age of 2 years old at her local YMCA. Tina then studied gymnastics under the guidance of Margit "Grete" Treiber, Indiana State University Women's Gymnastics coach. Coach Treiber is a Hall of Fame Award winner from National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges and a NCAA Representative on the U.S. Olympic Committee. Tina trained in recreational gymnastics under coach Treiber from the age of 5 years old until she was 9 years old. Tina found a love and passion for the sport of gymnastics under coach Treiber. Tina then trained under Coach Rick Danely, Indiana State University Gymnastics Team Coach. Coach Danely won gold for high bar in the 1974 National Championship Penn State AVIG. Coach Danely was most well known for coaching famous Indiana State University Kurt Thomas. Kurt Thomas went on to be three time gold medal winner in World Championships. Tina competed as a USGF gymnast under coach Danely through the remainder of her elementary and middle-school years. As Tina went into her high-school years she then completed for her local high school. Terre Haute North Vigo on the Junior Varsity and Varsity Level. As a gymnast Tina won multiple local, sectional and regional medals. She was also in the state USGF championships. After high-school Tina attended Indiana State University where she studied once again under Coach Grete Treiber. Tina studied gymnastic training and the coaching of competitive gymnastics while at ISU. Tina trained a competitive gymnastics team in Indiana, which had girls ranging in ages from elementary to high-school. Tina became a nurse in 1996 and worked in med-surge and emergency medicine for 15 years. Tina moved to North Carolina living in Wendell/Clayton area since 1999. Tina is a wife and mother of two beautiful girls, Madeline 9 years old and Neeley 8 years old. Tina returned to coaching of competitive gymnastics over the last 2 years, because of her love for the sport and her daughters. Tina currently holds a Professional Member Certification with the USAG and has a USAG Safety and Risk Management certification.
