This year we are celebrating the 7th Anniversary of our annual fundraiser Christmas production benefitting the Raleigh Rescue Mission. We will be telling “The Story of the Grinch.” Not only does it help get everyone in the Christmas Spirit, it will allow the dancers to give back to those in need in our community. We could not be more EXCITED! We have lots of FUN and GREAT things planned for this BRAND NEW show!
All proceeds from this production will be donated to Raleigh Rescue Mission
This performance is 100% non-profit!
Who can register?
- This production is for dancers that are in Kindergarten-12th Grade.
- This production includes all different styles of dance.
- 2nd-12th Dancers have the option to choose between Tap, Jazz, and Ballet/Lyrical.
- Kindergarten/1st grade dancers have the option of Ballet & Jazz
- Students who are in 8-12th Grade will have the option to do Hip-Hop.
- The registration deadline is August.
There will be a $25 non-refundable registration deposit due with the registration form. The registration deposit will ensure that your dancer will have a spot. All dancers will need to fill out a registration form.
How much does it cost?
Please note that any money that is paid will be put towards costumes, props, programs, printing, etc. Heather’s Dance does not gain any profit from this event. EVERYTHING goes to the mission!

When filling out the registration form your dancer will need to choose which style/styles of dance that they would like to be part of in the production. Each style of dance requires a different costume.
You have the option to pay the amount due in full OR pay according to the following payment schedule:

It is our goal to raise as much money as possible for The Raleigh Rescue Mission. This production is such a great opportunity for the dancers to learn the importance of giving back to others.
Each dancer will have the responsibility of raising a minimum of $100. They can do this by seeking donations from family members, teachers, and friends. Please note that $100 is the MINIMUM, but dancers are definitely welcome to raise more!
Our goal with this show is to have 100% of the ticket sales be donated to the mission. In order for that to happen all expenses must be covered.
Rather than of having tons of different fundraisers, each family will be required to pay a $55 Stage Fee. The stage fee will help cover the auditorium rental, programs, props, sound equipment, etc. This allows everyone in the production to contribute the same amount to help us obtain our goal of donating ALL TICKET SALES! The Stage Fee will be due by November 16th.
Rehearsals are a commitment that MUST BE KEPT throughout the production. We cannot put on a production without all cast members being dedicated to ensuring the show is a GREAT performance. I try really hard to make this production fun for families while not being a heavy burden. I make it a priority to make it convenient for all ages and their other activities. With only having 4 months to put the production together, ATTENDANCE IS VERY IMPORTANT. On the next page, I have listed the dates for ALL rehearsals. Specific rehearsal times will be sent out after the cast list has been created. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Dancers who are part of the production will perform in all three shows. Parents are not required to attend all three of the performances. We do encourage parents to volunteer at least one show if possible.
